Product Overview
Continuous silicon carbide (SiC) fiber and its reinforced ceramic matrix composites (CMC) offer broad application prospects in extreme environments such as aerospace and the nuclear industry, owing to their outstanding high-temperature resistance, oxidation resistance, and mechanical properties. The overall performance of these products has reached internationally advanced levels.
Using its proprietary electron beam-assisted active atmosphere crosslinking technology, the company has achieved engineering-scale production of first-generation (Shincolon-I), second-generation (Shincolon-II), and third-generation (Shincolon-Ⅲ) continuous silicon carbide (SiC) fiber, and has established a continuous silicon carbide (SiC) fiber production line with an annual capacity of 10-ton class.
Applications
Hot-section components for aero engines; aerospace thermal protection structures; radiation-resistant materials for nuclear applications; high-end civilian high-temperature components.
