Product Overview
Polyzirconocarbosilane (PZCS) is a novel zirconium-containing polycarbosilane polymer that can be used as a precursor for zirconium-containing multiphase silicon carbide (SiC) fibers and C-ZrC-SiC matrices, significantly improving the high-temperature ablation resistance of fibers and ceramic matrix composites.
By introducing zirconium into the main chain, the high-temperature resistance and ablation resistance of the pyrolysis products are improved, making it suitable for multiphase ceramic fibers in higher service temperature environments.
Applications
High-temperature oxidation-resistant fiber; multiphase ceramic fiber; ablation-resistant components.
