Product Overview
Polyaluminocarbosilane (PACS) is an organometallic polymer with a Si-C backbone and a controlled Al content, used as a precursor for the preparation of aluminum-containing SiC ceramic fibers and aluminum-containing SiC ceramic matrices.
The introduction of Al effectively improves the densification of SiC ceramics, inhibits SiC grain growth, and enhances their high-temperature resistance and oxidation resistance.
Applications
Multiphase ceramic fiber; functionalized precursors; aluminum-containing SiC ceramic matrix.
