Technology Origin: Starting with the Preparation of Continuous SiC Fiber via the Precursor Method
In 1975, the Yajima group at Tohoku University in Japan produced continuous SiC fiber with a diameter of approximately 10 μm using polycarbosilane (PCS) as a precursor. Shortly after Japan's successful development of SiC fiber, China began to recognize the potential application value of this material and started to establish a technology system for silicon carbide (SiC) fiber R&D, embarking on a journey of independent innovation.
